I just wanted to share my latest drawing of Jessica Stam. Last week I was looking for something to draw because I just felt the feeling calling me and her image popped up and hit me. I posted the first sketch and it got mad love on Fb and Instagram. It kind of bugged me out that so many people were liking the little that I had already done but I can't wait for them to see the finished product. Here's the process.

I'm just in the mind frame of trying pump out as much artwork out of me as I can. I really feel as though as I'm behind in my drawing skills. I've noticed that I've gotten a lot cleaner with certain things but I want for my level of detail to be much greater. Especially, since I've been drawing for so long. My goal now is to draw anything that I feel has value to me and be something that I care about. I would like to exercise different styles and methods as well. For some reason, this comes so easy for me and I sure don't want to NOT develop this talent to the best of my ability.

What started out as a simple sketch turned into a small facebook phenomenon for me. Last Sunday during the MTV Movie Awards, I started finally working on my favorite model (Fo Porter) drawing and as I got half way into coloring in her face, I said to myself, "Wow! This looks cool!!!". I took a quick snap shot of it with my phone and posted it on instagram and Facebook. The number of likes shot up super quick!!!
By Wed., I finished it and posted it to let everybody know that I had completed it and within less than 2 hours, I already had over 100 likes. By now I have more than 300 likes and numerous of compliments. This whole experience has just reminded me that I'm doing the right thing by following my passion which is art and drawing. It is so natural to me and I just LOVE it so much.

FINALLY, after months of waiting, I finally got my iPhone 6 Plus. Even though I could have went with the AT&T next plan, I didn't see that making any sense because I wasn't trying to finance a cell phone for 2 years to have it be out of date in less than 1. So far, I'm loving it and can't believe how small my iPhone 5 was and how we all went without having a super dope phone like the Plus. Just wanted to chime in and add my 2 cents.
